Andre Orandain is a quality assurance and compliance professional, contributing to the review and continuous improvement of training and assessment materials. With experience across instructional design, compliance validation, and quality assurance leadership, he brings a practical understanding of what RTOs need from resources that are both audit-ready and easy to use in day-to-day delivery.
Andre began his VET career in instructional design, developing assessment tools and learning resources for accredited vocational training programs. This early hands-on experience gave him a strong appreciation for how good resources are built, from interpreting unit requirements to shaping content in a way that trainers and assessors can use with confidence.
He later moved into quality assurance and compliance leadership, where he supported validation workflows, reviewed learning and assessment resources, and helped teams improve the consistency of their quality checks. His work has also included developing review standards, supporting team training, improving internal processes, and investigating assessment tools in response to ASQA audit concerns.
In his current quality assurance and compliance work, Andre supports review processes across training resource brands with different industry focuses. He helps maintain consistency across validation and copyediting functions, contributes to training programs that keep teams aligned with VET requirements, and explores AI-assisted workflows that improve compliance review efficiency without losing the careful judgement needed in quality work.
