Have had a very positive experience with this RTO resource company. In particular, Anthony himself was very professional while also personable, and he was very adept at answering my questions and providing samples of the product. The purchasing process was a little slow in comparison, but one progress enquiry to Andrew and the resources were sent through the same day. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is their practice of offering inducements for reviews; a 25-dollar Westfield voucher bribe was unnecessary to get me to leave a review. It may be a harsh reason for omitting a star, but in order to be perfect you must be.... well, perfect.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do RTOs determine whether an LLN assessment is appropriate for a course?

RTOs determine whether an LLN assessment is appropriate by reviewing the foundation skill demands of the qualification and comparing them to the learner’s current reading, writing and numeracy capability. LLN assessment tools are commonly used at pre-enrolment to support course suitability decisions and identify whether additional learner support may be required.
An LLN assessment should provide clear evidence of the learner’s assessed skill levels, including mapped tasks, recorded outcomes, and assessor judgement. For audit purposes, RTOs typically retain the completed assessment, marking guidance, and a record showing how the results informed enrolment or support decisions.
Digital literacy is assessed by evaluating whether learners can use common digital tools and systems required for training delivery. A digital literacy assessment may include tasks such as navigating online platforms, managing files, communicating digitally, and creating simple digital content relevant to learning and assessment activities.
LLN assessment tools can be used across different qualifications provided the assessment covers the foundation skill levels required for entry to the course. RTOs often use LLN assessments to support placement decisions across multiple qualifications, particularly where reading, writing or numeracy demands vary.
LLN and digital literacy assessments support informed enrolment by giving RTOs a clear view of a learner’s readiness for training. The results can be used to confirm course suitability, plan learner support strategies, or guide discussions with learners before enrolment is finalised.
