(latest NCVER data)Every instrument on a process plant depends on correctly routed signal cables and leak-free tubing. UEEIC0023 Install instrumentation and control cabling and tubing builds the skills to plan routes, install and secure cabling, tubing and accessories, and terminate them to requirements, giving RTOs a foundational instrumentation installation unit.
Our editable UEEIC0023 training resources provide structured delivery, consistent coverage of cable and tubing installation, and validation-ready assessment documentation. They are designed for compliance and help your RTO deliver installation training that suits employer needs.

Inclusions
These UEEIC0023 training resources help your RTO prepare learners to plan, install, terminate and document instrumentation cabling, tubing and accessories.
The UEEIC0023 learning materials cover instrumentation cable specifications, applications, preparation and termination, connection hardware, pneumatic and hydraulic tubing and piping, cutting, bending and joining methods and instrument air supply maintenance.
These UEEIC0023 RTO materials help assessors gather and judge evidence of installing instrumentation cabling and tubing to requirements.
Key Benefits
These resources support delivery of UEEIC0023 Install instrumentation and control cabling and tubing by helping learners determine the nature and location of work, plan cable and tube routes within building and plant constraints and obtain the materials needed. Trainers and assessors can use them to plan activities around isolating plant, installing cabling and tubing with sufficient excess, placing accessories within tolerance, terminating cables and tubing, carrying out quality checks and documenting as-installed work.
Your RTO should still carry out independent validation to confirm alignment with your specific delivery context and learner cohort, as required under the Standards for RTOs. Use the assessment mapping as your starting point.
Not sure where to start with validation? Refer to the current release of UEEIC0023 on training.gov.au before delivery.
