(latest NCVER data)UEEIC0028 Provide solutions to problems in industrial control systems develops the skills to analyse and solve problems in industrial control systems using knowledge of control amplifiers, transducers, final control elements and P, PI, PD and PID control. It gives RTOs a technically rich instrumentation unit for apprentices and experienced technicians.
Our editable UEEIC0028 RTO training materials provide structured delivery, consistent coverage of transducers, control loops and solution testing, and validation-ready assessment documentation. Designed for compliance, they help your RTO deliver instrumentation training with confidence.

Inclusions
These UEEIC0028 training resources help your RTO prepare learners to identify, solve, test and document industrial control system problems.
The UEEIC0028 learning materials explain control amplifiers and op-amp configurations, industrial transducers for temperature, force, speed and position, final control elements, open and closed loop control, two-position and PID control, control loops, converters and multiplexing.
These UEEIC0028 RTO materials help assessors judge evidence of solving and documenting industrial control system problems.
Key Benefits
These resources support delivery of UEEIC0028 Provide solutions to problems in industrial control systems by helping learners determine the extent of problems from job specifications and situation reports, plan work to timelines and obtain parameter specifications and job requirements. Trainers and assessors can use them to plan activities around applying device and circuit characteristics, evaluating options for the most effective solution, testing and modifying solutions and documenting adopted solutions with risk control instructions.
Your RTO should still carry out independent validation to confirm alignment with your specific delivery context and learner cohort, as required under the Standards for RTOs. Use the assessment mapping as your starting point.
Not sure where to start with validation? Refer to the current release of UEEIC0028 on training.gov.au before delivery.
Qualifications
This unit is part of nationally recognised training for the following qualifications:

Unit Info
This unit covers providing solutions to industrial control system problems. Learners identify, provide, test and document solutions, interpret process and circuit diagrams, apply knowledge of industrial controls to problem-solving techniques and carry out safety and functional testing. A licence or permit to practice is required for work on installations above 50 V a.c. or 120 V d.c.
To deliver this unit in line with the Standards for RTOs and meet ASQA expectations, your UEEIC0028 resources need to address:
Understanding the structure of UEEIC0028 helps RTOs align process trainers, RTO resources and assessment with the breadth of control theory the unit covers. It also supports consistent judgements about solution effectiveness.
FAQs
The resources are delivered as digital files after purchase and can be downloaded immediately. Trainers can then add examples from your process control equipment.
The package contains a learner guide, presentation, class activities book, self-study guide and session plan, together with a student assessment pack, marking guide and mapping information. These cover problem identification, solutions, testing and documentation.
Yes, the editable files can be updated with loop diagrams, transducer types and tuning examples from your equipment. This helps learners apply theory to systems they can test.
Your RTO receives a one-time licence for use with unlimited students. Resale or sharing outside your organisation is not permitted.
Mapping information links each task to the unit requirements, giving a clear starting point for validation and audit preparation. Updates may be released when the unit is revised.
Publisher
An experienced Australian VET resource publisher, this organisation produces learning and assessment resources for RTOs in electrotechnology, instrumentation and other technical fields. Its titles combine detailed theory with applied problem-solving tasks.
Compliant Learning Resources works with a network of trusted training resource publishers to give RTOs access to broader product options. This gives your RTO more delivery choice when sourcing resources for instrumentation and control units.
