What These Projects Mean for the TLI Training Package

These updates ensure the TLI training package stays relevant by reflecting current industry practices and regulatory requirements. By focusing on modern technologies, safety, and compliance, the updates prepare the workforce for current and future challenges in the transport and logistics sector.

These integrations ensure the training package meets present needs and anticipates future trends, fostering an adaptable and forward-thinking workforce.

Actions for RTOs

Registered training organisations (RTOs) must revise their curricula to incorporate updated qualifications and units. This involves updating training materials, assessment strategies, and possibly retraining instructors to deliver the new content effectively. Specifically, RTOs should:

  • Update Scope of Registration: Ensure the updated version is added to your scope of registration.
  • Monitor Transition Period: Keep an eye on the 12-month transition period and ensure all learners are transitioned to the new version within the allowable period.
  • Manage Deleted Products: Ensure students in deleted products finish their study within 1 year after the units and skill sets were deleted, and 2 years for deleted qualifications.
  • Add New Qualifications: Apply to add new, non-equivalent qualifications and units of competency to your scope.

By aligning your programs with these updates, your RTO can ensure the delivery of high-quality education that meets industry needs and enhances their graduates’ employability. This proactive approach benefits students and strengthens the reputation of RTOs as providers of cutting-edge, industry-relevant training.
